The United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum is the winner of the grand universal design award for inclusivity and accessibility.

Gallery 5 features 4 main sports items used by Olympians (wheelchair, speedsuit, trainer and prosthetic racing blade). 4 gesture, interactive installations allow visitors to learn about these objects' brief history, design, landscape and results. The transparent screens integrate nicely in the space, allowing the visitor to enjoy the content while seeing the physical objects behind them.
