Nintendo sought to increase its reach to girls as the majority of its fans tend to be boys. The aim of the Instagram campaign was to increase fans’ engagement and followers. It showed Nintendo integrated in its girl fans’ everyday life. The shared photos had an element of fun to them, which is at the heart of the Nintendo brand.
