Marketing the new Mazda MX5 and reaching new customers through harnessing the power of social media on Facebook in building a Facebook native campaign rather than simply recutting the TV ad. Facebook users were able to create and then share personalised videos to engage in the thrill of driving the MX5. Users could create their preferred type of journey, choosing their route and mood as well as selecting images of themselves and a Facebook friend to come along.
Creating these videos challenged the traditional linear workflow and storyline of video and editing, and required working alongside the developers to come up with and build an efficient and effective workflow and solution.

At a later stage, some of the video assets created were repurposed, recut in length and format for mobile interstitials (portrait), Facebook ads (landscape), and Instagram (square).
